WEDNESDAY: Spanberger to Host Virginia-Focused Telephone Town Hall
Next Week’s Event Will Focus on Many Issues Facing the Seventh District’s Families, Seniors, & Economy
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — On Wednesday, October 18, U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host an open, public telephone town hall focused on a range of issues facing Virginia’s families, seniors, and economy. The virtual event will also be livestreamed via video on Spanberger’s congressional website and Facebook page.
Spanberger will take questions directly from Virginians across Virginia’s Seventh District, gather their feedback, and provide answers. Additionally, she will update attendees about her ongoing work to prevent a dangerous government shutdown ahead of the November funding deadline and pass the 2023 Farm Bill.
“During these unprecedented times on Capitol Hill, hearing directly from Virginians in the Seventh District will help inform my work in Congress on their behalf,” said Spanberger. “Wednesday’s town hall will be an excellent opportunity to engage on many of the important issues facing our communities, our Commonwealth, and our country. These conversations make a real difference, and I hope many residents of the Seventh District will join me to share their concerns, feedback, and ideas — which I always strive to incorporate in my legislative work.”
