Spanberger to Host Virtual Telephone Town Hall Focused on Issues Facing Virginia Veterans & Military Families
During Monday’s Event, the Congresswoman will be joined by Representatives from the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to Answer Questions Directly from Virginia Veterans
WOODBRIDGE, Va. — On Monday, October 21, U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host an open, public telephone town hall focused on issues facing Virginia’s Veterans, military families, and caregivers.
Next Monday, Spanberger will be joined by representatives from the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to answer questions directly from Seventh District Veterans and their families. The virtual event will also be livestreamed via video on Spanberger’s congressional website and Facebook page.
“I appreciate the Virginia Department of Veterans Services for joining my next telephone town hall to share their insights and expertise with Veterans, servicemembers, and military families from across the Seventh District. Every opportunity I have to join with these advocates and hear directly from Virginia’s Veterans and their families helps me better advocate on their behalf in Congress,” said Spanberger. “I hope many of those who have served our country in uniform — or continue to serve our country in uniform — will dial in to contribute to our conversation, and I encourage all Virginians with questions about backlogged VA claims, Honoring Our PACT Act benefits, and concerns for the health and safety of our bravest neighbors to attend Monday night’s event.”
