NEXT WEDNESDAY: Spanberger to Host Virginia-Focused Telephone Town Hall
Next Week’s Event Will Focus on Many Issues Facing the Seventh District’s Families, Seniors, & Economy
WASHINGTON, D.C. — On Wednesday, March 27, U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host an open, public telephone town hall focused on a range of issues facing Virginia’s families, seniors, and economy. The virtual event will also be livestreamed via video on Spanberger’s congressional website and Facebook page.
Spanberger will take questions directly from Virginians across Virginia’s Seventh District, gather their feedback, and provide answers. Additionally, she will discuss her ongoing efforts to lower prescription drug costs, fix our broken immigration system, crack down on illicit fentanyl, protect the reproductive rights of all Virginians, and deliver security assistance to our allies in Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan — as well as humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza.
“My job is to listen to Virginians, and then work to deliver results. During Wednesday night’s event, I look forward to taking questions, hearing concerns, and sharing updates about my work on Capitol Hill and at home in Virginia,” said Spanberger. “I appreciate every chance I have to hear from our neighbors, and Wednesday night’s event will be a great opportunity to connect with Virginians across the Seventh District. I hope many of them will lend their voices during this conversation.”
