Central Virginia middle and high schoolers have a chance to compete in the annual congressional app challenge.

Seventh district representative Abigail Spanberger extended the invite to STEM students Wednesday.

The annual competition allows students to get hands-on practice with coding and computer science.

The winner’s work will be displayed later this year in the U.S. Capitol Building.

You register and submit an app until October 19. Details on the challenge and submission details are posted here.
