As the chair of the House Agriculture Committee Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry, Spanberger said she is excited to share updates about improving conservation programs.

“I think it’s really important to focus on all the things in that are in particular, all our farmers and our producers and our agricultural communities really doing right, you know it’s important to recognize the health of our land and our natural resources is so incredibly vital to the future of our economy,” said Spanberger.

Spanberger said more environmental awareness events need to take place so environmental stewardship comes to life for the next generation.
