This Week’s Interactive Event Will Focus on Many Issues Facing the Seventh District’s Families, Communities, & Economy

WOODBRIDGE, Va. — On Thursday, June 1, U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger will host an open, public telephone town hall focused on a range of issues facing Virginia’s families, communities, and economy. The virtual event will also be livestreamed via video on Spanberger’s congressional website and Facebook page.

Spanberger will take questions directly from Virginians, hear their concerns, and provide responses. Additionally, she will deliver an update on some of her current priorities in the U.S. House — including preventing a default on America’s federal debt.

“This week, I look forward to another evening of taking questions directly from the Virginians I serve. During this moment of uncertainty — both around the world and within our own country, I want to hear more from our neighbors about their concerns, what they’re thinking, and how they want Congress to address the challenges ahead,” said Spanberger. “I hope many Virginians will join our conversation, make their voices heard, and help inform my work on behalf of Virginia’s Seventh District in the U.S. House.”

WHO: U.S. Representative Abigail Spanberger

WHEN: 7:30pm-8:30pm ET, Thursday, June 1, 2023

DETAILS: To join the interactive telephone town hall, Virginians should dial in to 833-380-0670. To watch the conversation, Virginians can go to spanberger.house.gov/live or Spanberger’s Facebook page during the event.

Thursday’s event will be Spanberger’s 47th open, public telephone town hall event. These events have focused on the issues facing Virginia families, Veterans, small businesses, students, seniors, and more. Click here to watch full recordings of previous events.
