CBS19: Still have time to send Valentines for Veterans

CBS19

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and one member of Virginia’s congressional delegation is again collecting valentines to give to veterans.

For the fifth year, Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger is holding her Valentines for Vets program.

“Valentines for Vets is a wonderful opportunity for Virginia’s Seventh District to show our servicemembers and Veterans how much we appreciate their service and sacrifice, and I’m proud to relaunch this program for the fifth year in a row,” said Spanberger. “Taking the time to design a valentine or write a heartfelt note is a small way to give back to those who have answered the call to serve our country. These heroes have earned our recognition, and I hope many of our neighbors will participate in this heartfelt tradition.”

People can drop off or mail cards to her district offices in Woodbridge and Fredericksburg through Feb. 5.

Those addresses are:

Woodbridge district office:
2241D Tacketts Mill Drive
Woodbridge, VA 22192

Fredericksburg district office:
1380 Central Park Blvd
Suite 201
Fredericksburg, VA 22401
